We are proud to be somewhere that accommodates people with many food allergies. Our staff is trained to be able to walk our guests through any questions they may have about our menu, and food preparation. We hope you enjoy our offerings for you, and we can't wait to serve you again.
What a find! They have a GF fryer, and you wouldn’t know it from looking at the place (seems like a bar, mostly) but they serve the best food! Whole family is GF. Had the beef tips with fries, a burger and salad. All were fresh, delicious and served so quickly. Our daughter has T1D and was having a low, so that was especially appreciated. Highly recommend.
Lots of GF options in this bar. We had the nacho plate to share and I had Fish and Chips. That something that is hard to find as a GF meal, so loved it! 😊 The food was really good. The burgers were not marked as GF, but there was a GF bun available, made the choice of what to eat even harder. 😅 When in Boston, I'll go again to eat here.
I was very surprised to find this little spot in Boston. Usually bars/pubs do not offer many GF options but happy to say that is not the case here. Staff was very attentive and was very clear about food prep and alleviating cross contamination concerns. Had the fish and chips and it was good!
Food was delicious! Great service and menu items were clearly marked GF.
This place is great! They only use rice flour in their fryers therefore their fried items are gluten free meaning little risk for cross contamination. It was great to have plenty of gluten free fried food options to choose from! I got the fish and chips which our waitress said was automatically made gluten free using rice flour and it was delicious! Felt super safe eating here and would definitely go back!
Ordered the chicken “wrap” but they were happy to put it on a gf bun for me instead of the tortilla wrap, also it came with gf fries! It was delicious. Server was great about checking with the kitchen to make sure everything was Gf and no cross contamination. Super chill vibe and good food!
I loved the bartender and vibe and had read reviews beforehand that made me feel safe to eat there. We got the truffle fries and the Buffalo chicken bites. My reaction always happens exactly 2 hours later, and I became violently Ill. I wonder if they didn’t use a seperate fryer or the flour was not actually rice? Really sad I got sick too cause they were awesome fries and bites:(
Absolutely awful experience here. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and asked the bartender if the fries were in a separate fryer. He was confused and said no, so I ordered a side salad instead. When I ordered the sandwich and told him I’m celiac, he said “so, you just want the gluten free bun?” and did not acknowledge my allergy. Then the sandwich came out with fries, which I reminded him I could not eat. He came back two minutes later (clearly just moved the sandwich onto a new plate, which obviously would not be cross-contamination safe.) When I looked at the sandwich I realized the chicken was fried (not listed as such on the menu) and told him I wouldn’t be able to eat it. He started at me blankly and asked why, and I told him because I cannot have food from shared fryers. He then tried to tell me that they DID have a separate fryer, just for the chicken. Also charged me for the full meal. I was too uncomfortable to order anything else. Definitely not celiac safe.
He responded as such because there is no cross contamination in our fryers, and we only use rice flour. He wasn't wrong, but it seems like there was a misunderstanding. Sorry you were confused. Very much celiac safe. We hope to see you again.
Server first said nothing is gluten free which really scared me off, but after speaking to the kitchen they confirmed most items can be done gf and they take cross contamination seriously. Food was great, I would have never thought this type of place would be GF so glad they are on the app!
Hooray for truly gluten free fries in their own fryer!! And for late night food options! I wish I would have known about this place sooner while visiting Boston. They have a ton of gluten free options on their menu including fried pickles, which I wished I would have gotten to try. I only got the truffle fries but they were so delicious! The bartenders also seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination, which I appreciated. This place gets so so busy on weekend nights though so be prepared.
GF clam chowder, GF fried pickles were excellent! Also had chicken bites with chili sauce and BBQ sauce. All good.
I love 4th Wall, it's been one of my regular stops before seeing a show for years. They are super aware of nut allergies, so I was hoping for a better experience now that I have Celiac's Disease. They do have items marked GF on the menu, though when I ordered the wings marked GF, the server came back and informed me the wings will go in the same fryer as everything else. So, the wings are not GF... otherwise, they have gluten free buns for all of their burgers and their drinks are delicious. Lots of ciders and Seltzer!
