I just found out last week that I am gluten intolerant after 10 years of chronic stomach issues. 620 used to be my favorite restaurant, I love Asian food and sushi.
I went there today and there is not a dedicated GF menu - so I explained to the waitress I have a gluten allergy and I asked what was GF on the menu. She responded with “our kitchen can make just about anything GF, it would take too long for me to go over everything.” So I quickly asked about the stir fry options, because I didn’t want to waste her time. I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and was told that the noodles are rice noodles and the sauce is just GF soy sauce and she assured me the dish will be made GF. She told me two sushi rolls are GF, and I ordered one of them - the spicy salmon roll. I ate a few pieces of the sushi and about 7 bites of the noodles, and just within 10 minutes I was 100% sure I had eaten something with gluten. I was miserable after and I am so disappointed.
