Review of 74th Street Ale House

This is a review of the last time I ate here, in July 2017. I ordered a gf salad with chicken or some other meat on top, per the menu, which does have gf offerings. After I’d started eating it, the server came over to inform me he mistakenly had not given me the gf version. He took the plate back to the kitchen, then moments later returned with it and said that the cook had informed him it was indeed prepared gf. After I ate some more of the salad, I found some croutons (not gf; gf croutons were not a menu option) in the greens. I stopped eating. But it was too late. I got sick anyway. Not worth the risk for this celiac to return, which is a shame. I always loved this place before getting diagnosed.
