EDIT to previous post: I have eaten here several times since the first review. The staff questioned me about the fries, and stated they are in the same fryer as the chicken etc. this was shocking news, as 2 previous staff members told me it’s a completely separate, dedicated fryer. On that visit I opted to NOT eat the fries. I’m still uncertain what is correct. They do however take extra caution on the preparation of lettuce wrapped burgers, and prepare in a separate area.



I was able to eat here safely. Eat at your own comfort level of course, but I was able to find out that they have a dedicated fryer. They only put regular and sweet potato fries, which do not contain gluten in the product according to allergy guide on website. They wrapped by teen burger in lettuce, and the associate went to the back and explained to take extra precautions when preparing my burger. It felt awesome to eat a burger, fries and a root beer again 😊

I love the lettuce wrapped uncle burger and have never had a reaction. Make sure to ask for separate packaging, because once they put my burger in same bag as my partner’s onion rings, and the crumbs got all over my burger. But every other time has been fine and we eat there pretty regularly.

If you ask they will lettuce wrap any of the burgers. This is a nice as it can be difficult finding gluten free food that’s cheap. I often get the buddy burger lettuce wrapped - 3$ for the burger opposed to fancy restaurants charging 20$ for a similar product.

There is a chance of cross contamination but I’ve been okay so far. If you’re very sensitive or don’t want to take the risk, don’t eat here.

A cross contamination nightmare!!! I usually online order a beef burger lettuce wrapped, leaving a note to be extra careful of cross contamination from gluten products, especially bread. I will never order from here again after what I observed. They have a window where you can see into the kitchen and while I was waiting I that saw that the person making my lettuce wrapped burger was not wearing any gloves, neither were any of the other staff. The worker made a burger with her bare hands, sticking her hand in a bag of buns before serving, then immediately with her bare unwashed hands started making my lettuce wrapped burger, then immediately back into the bun bag for the next order. I was disgusted with the lack of care for cc. They also do not have a dedicated fryer, so oil is also cross contaminated even if you just want regular fries or sweet potato fries.

I get a lettuce wrapped double buddy burger with bacon and cheese it’s a very tasty and cheap snack.

I eat a lettuce wrapped double buddy with bacon and cheese and have had no issues for years and it’s the cheapest gluten free snack i can get on the go.

Their fries are in a dedicated fryer, can’t say there isn’t cross contamination.

The fries and hash browns have no gluten ingredients! It’s tapioca starch etc

You can always ask and they will show you the ingredients list!!
