A Bay’s used to offer a number of GF options but not many were offered this year. We had loco moco with no gravy- just meat patty and rice. It was a tasty meat patty, but I missed the gf corned beef has that they had last year.

Waiter gave completely inaccurate allergy information for both gluten and dairy. Derided a vegan diner, and they charged us 6$ to pay with a credit card (there was no indication of this policy/charge before the bill came). Burger was served raw.

I would love to give a review on the g/f options, but we sat at a table for 15 minutes with not so much as a “I’ll be right with you”. It seemed like there was only 1 waitress working the whole place. I never even got to ask about my g/f options. Very disappointing! We walked across the path to Fosters Kitchen and had menus and drinks within minutes. Be prepared to wait if you go….
For quality of food, excellent. My non-Celiac family members gave it a huge thumbs up.
For Gluten Free, the only really positive thing I can say is that the staff was friendly and helpful in determining that there really wasn’t anything on the menu that met my requirements (I have additional food allergies that complicate things). I ended up with a drink - a virgin lava flow - which was delicious and went a long way toward making up for not having lunch.
I probably could have asked for a bunless burger or something, but I felt safer just skipping. My daughter ordered a kids’ burger specifically without cheese (dairy sensitive and trying to be extra careful on vacation) and with lettuce and tomato; it came with cheese, no lettuce, and no tomato. So confidence in communication between wait staff and kitchen is not high.

You need to ask about gluten free items on the menu. They don’t have very many. The fresh fish tacos were delicious. It tested smiley face with my Nima Gluten Sensor.

I tried to go for breakfast and they don’t really have anything. I asked about the loco moco and was told that I can’t have the gravy (idk where the other person ate). The fried rice has soy sauce, but they do have white rice. The florentine benedict was pretty much the only thing because it doesn’t come with bread or toast. Haven’t tried their lunch/dinner but I don’t think I’ll be back.

I’m giving this place four stars only due to the limited GF options for dinner, however the fish tacos were SO GOOD I went back a second time. No reaction either time. The waiter the first visit was super attentive about celiacs but the other time the server just kind of shrugged. Still, no reaction either time.

IF you’re okay with SOY.. must have the Kalua Hash LOCO MOCO for breakfast. Soy in the fried rice and the gravy is thickened with corn starch so flour free and delicious:)

Eggs Florentine Benedict! Gluten free hollandaise with gluten free bread, absolutely amazing!
I was a little bummed when told that the only thing I could safely get gf on the dinner menu was the fish tacos, but in the end it didn’t matter- they were so delicious!! The waiter was very knowledgeable about celiac and was happy to answer all my gf questions. :)

Only one item marked GF. That said, the fish tacos were very good and I had no reaction.

Good food, literally the only GF food we’re the fish tacos and salads. The tacos were great, but my daughter who has Celiac was not comfortable eating here as there was o my one item safe for her.

I came here for breakfast, and there was only one item from the menu I could order - the corned beef hash which came with white rice (their fried rice wasn't gluten free), eggs, and corned beef. It was really good. Price was on the higher end for what you got though. The waitress was knowledgeable. I didn't get sick after eating here, so that is always a plus.

We came here after flying in late and were in desperate need of food. The waitress was very comfortable telling us what exactly on the menu was or wasn't GF. The fish tacos were awesome- the corn tortillas were the best I've ever had. They also had an amazing cider, (flavor I've never had before and unfortunately can't remember). We're planning on coming back to this restaurant and will edit post (for name of cider)

I had the fish tacos as they were the only item that the server thought were truly gf. The server was also celiac and that’s what she eats. The tacos were very tasty.
Loved the fish tacos!!! Homemade corn tortillas with fresh fish and a sauce with a kick. All 6 of us loved our meals! but I’m the only GF person. They were knowledgeable and helpful

Went in and asked about gluten free. Server said the only choice was fish tacos, so we left.
Fish tacos were delusions and not expensive steak was also gluten free but a bit pricey.
