A Grade

A Grade is a great little mom and pop shop restaurant in an alley just off the water. Chances are likely that you will need a reservation to get in, but there were some smaller groups that waited around long enough. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, and spoke very good English. Basically, if it doesn't mention bread or being fried, then you're in the clear. It's a good 75% of the menu that is available. I had the Cod "A Grade" and my girlfriend had the shrimp and rice, both were very good. The Caldo Verde was also one of our favorites.
