a la mode

The fact that thie amazing bakery closed makes me so sad. My children have multiple food allergies and a la mode was always able to accomodate our restrictions. She has provided birthday and other holiday cakes for special occasions for the last few years for my family.They were always absolutely delicious. In fact, I had told her when she delivered my last cake that they would be a part of our family for many years to come.

We recently ordered a strawberry shortcake & a dozen cupcakes (6 choc & 6 vanilla) for a family celebration. I was so skeptical at first with trying so many failed attempts made by other gluten free & vegan bakeries. But WOW! a la mode knocked it out of the park! I never tell friends when serving GF/V desserts & treats because they immediately turn their noses up. However, there was not a crumb left on any plate. The cucpakes were moist, flavorful & had just the right amount of frosting that wasn't too sugary sweet. The strawberry shortcake was heavenly! Fresh strawberries layered between vanilla cake & vanilla frosting has my mouth watering just thinking about it! I can't wait to order again! A la mode is an online delivery bakery it's so simple simoly click, select your delivery date & they'll deliver. This is going to make my holiday shopping list a lot easier to check off the dessert items this year!!

Not a bakery to stop in and get a gluten free dessert. They only take phone orders and deliver. I'll probably never try them because of this. I dislike that it pops up on this app like it's a place you can go. You can't.
