Wow, just WOW!
My husband and I recently tried this amazing dedicated gluten-free restaurant and store, and we were blown away by the experience. The flavors of the sandwiches we had were absolutely incredible - a solid 10/10! We highly recommend this place to everyone, whether they have dietary restrictions or not.
One thing that really impressed us was the bakery section. We've had mixed experiences with gluten-free baked goods in the past, but every item we got from this place was unbelievably delicious. It's great to see a place that proves gluten-free food can be incredibly tasty.
We truly believe that we need more places like this in the world. It's essential for people to know that gluten-free food can be just as enjoyable and satisfying as traditional options. We only wish we lived closer, as this would undoubtedly become a staple in our family's lives.
Thank you to the restaurant and store for providing such an exceptional dining experience. Keep up the fantastic work!
This unique spot is a little cafe and a mini grocery store combined. Everything sold is fully gluten free and there are a lot of dairy free options. Perfect spot to meet a friend for lunch or to get food to go. Celiac and love not having to ask questions about the food and can just order whatever I want!
I was in Dedham and saw this pop up so figured I'd give it a shot... I give it a one star because I didn't have a chance to eat anything.
The counter space was confusing. There was a sign that said foods may contain gluten and wheat but another sign that said bread was gluten free. It was busy when I stepped in so I waited and went up when nobody else was in line. I tried to inquire about a paper menu and was dismissed out of hand, I must of looked befuddled , he said it's online. I went on their site and there's not really a menu that explains what's going on, so I went to the order online feature. I wanted to ask about the sign but after being dismissed twice I figured I'd just leave.
Their grocery items are twice as much as Wegmans for the same stuff and more than twice Market Basket. I could forgive the prices if the staff wasn't rude and unwilling to give you a second considering they seem to be catering to a specialty population.
I guess if you live in Needham and happen to be right next door stop on by but don't go out of your way. This is the most disappointed I've been in a place like this. My local deli that doesn't hold itself up to be a gf haven is more accommodating. Don't waste your time.
I agree with the comments here! The person I presume is the owner was rude as hell when I went for the first time and tried to confirm if everything was gluten free. That said, always happy to have a safe cafe with baked goods! The grocery part of the store is pricier than I expect these days, even with inflation.
Not a very friendly place, but we got great GF muffins and smoothies here. They have a nice stock of GF frozen foods as well. After reading the review from the reviewer who asked about the sign that said products may contain wheat, I asked about the sign as well. I was told that they have to display it by law, but that everything is GF.
This is a little coffee shop/bakery that also has a little grocery section. It’s the only place I can find a good stock of KATZ GF items! I LOVE this place. More gluten free options than I’ve ever seen in my life. They’re a bit more expensive than regular stores, but it’s cheaper than ordering online or driving all around creation to get my favorite GF stuff. It’s all there in one place. I’m a grad student so I don’t have a huge budget, but I make occasional trips here to pick up some treats!
I have celiac and this is my go to place for deserts. There is a 100% dedicated gf kitchen which has gf cookies, cupcakes, and breads. The bread is from Twist bakery in Millis. Mostly prepackaged food on shelves. Very friendly and helpful staff. Little overpriced because the food is gluten-free. But overall 5/5!!!
