A Taste Of El Salvador

Used to love this place. Went there recently and was very disappointed. The person at the counter was kind of dismissive but finally asked the kitchen about safety. We ordered a main dish with some tamales. The main dish came out with fries mixed into the beef and vegetables even though we asked for no fried because they indicated the fryer was not gluten-free. The tamales were bland with very little filling.

This place is fantastic. Menu is 100% gf, staff is friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Some of the best food I have had in Asheville and a great value!

Just found out that this place is now 100% gf, so I had to give it a try. The food is delicious, staff is very nice and helpful. The melon agua fresca is incredible.
