Whale of a Crepe was excellent. We ate there 3 times when we were visiting Kona. We had a variety of savory and sweet crepes, and I also had a smoothy. The staff were very nice and friendly and explained the protocols that they took to ensure the food was safe for me.

I went to this place a couple times on my vacation and it did not disappoint. Just let him know that you are gluten-free and he'll take care of you. He switches out utensils and does all the things that will put a celiac's mind at ease. I didn't get secure at all and the food is amazing. My wife raves about the vegetarian paradise crepe. I had the banana and Nutella crepe and it was the bomb.com. 10 of 10 yes yes yes. This place made me feel like a normal person for a change and I appreciated it thanks buddy.
The workers are very friendly, knowledgeable and careful. I am very sensitive to gluten (celiac). I feel completely safe eating here. All of the food is also no compromise on flavor being GF, which is amazing. I feel like most other places I'm making a lot compromises just to get something GF.

The staff was great! Explained how they make their food gluten free and gave notice that since it is the dough is made fresh it take a couple extra minutes. This food truck has its own cooking equipment to keep cross contamination from happening! Highly recommend this place. Great bite to eat in this slice of paradise.

Have eaten here twice while on vacation. They are just south and across from the Kona by the Sea on Ali'i Drive at the Marketplace. The first time we asked the "20 questions" to make sure it was safe. They mix gluten free batter in a separate space and only when you order. They have a dedicated grill for the gluten free crepes and seem very knowledgeable about safe procedures. The second time we phone ordered ahead in the morning since they said morning is very busy. They had food ready quickly and recognized us from the first time. I would definitely recommend them for celiac and gluten free. We had the Kona Paradise, Hawaiian Sunset and the Mauna Kea. All were delicious.
