The Abbey Lodge Inn

Visited for lunch with family. Pub was quiet, though not empty. Menus had a variety of options, gluten free menu included! Questions related to my Coeliac Disease were answered and double checked by waiting staff if unknown. Dedicated fryer for gluten free food meant I could go with my usual choices when eating out. Food was tasty with good portion sizes. Adjustments were able to be made to the menu to accommodate what we wanted. Prices slightly higher than chains, but were well worth it. Highly recommend the toffee marshmallow sundae for dessert if you have a sweet tooth.

Only faults were food not specifically marked as gluten free and my plates were carried alongside others.

Overall, definitely will be visiting again!
