Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn

This place is a gem! It is around the corner from Foxwoods Casino. You can literally walk (but there isn’t much of a sidewalk and it was hot, so we drove).

As a bed and breakfast, breakfast is involved. They email you the breakfast menu at 3pm the day before and you have to put in your order via a Google doc by 8pm. They are sure to mark everything that is GF and go out of their way to make sure there are plenty of options.

The first day, I had the GF breakfast tacos with cilantro from the garden, cabbage, eggs over medium, and red onion with a side of bacon - yum! I also had a side parfait with GF peanut butter granola. My husband had GF blueberry pancakes that looked awesome!!

The second day, I had scrambled egged with cream cheese and garlic scapes with a side of mushrooms sautéed in butter. So good!!

Just note, the menu changes daily, so grab what you want when you see it, it may not be there tomorrow.
