Review of Abel's on the Lake

I haven't eaten there yet, but I emailed a request for a GF menu. I received a quick reply with this information:

Starters -Steamed Mussels with no garlic bread -Trio (Queso, Guac, and Salsa are all Gluten Free as well as our Tortilla Chips) -Pork Sliders and Abels Sliders can be gluten free with no bun on on lettuce

Oysters & Such All Items in this section except for the Oven Roasted Oysters are gluten free and those can be made gluten free with the exclusion of the bread crumbs

Soup/Salad All items are gluten free except for: Chicken Caesar (can be with the exclusion of croutons) Tortilla Soup (can be with the exclusion of the tortilla strips)

Tacos Fish (gluten free if ordered on corn) Shrimp(gluten free if ordered on corn and grilled)

Sandwiches All the burgers and the california chicken sandwich can be placed on lettuce or just ordered sans bun.

Entrees -Shrimp and Grits - Gluten Free -New York Strip - Gluten Free - Pan Roasted Salmon - Gluten Free - Catch Of The Day - Gluten Free -Braised Short Ribs - Gluten Free when excluding brussels spouts

Sides below are all the sides that are gluten free Coleslaw sweet potato seasonal veg charro beans fingerling potatoes garlic mashed potatoes green beans rice

Brunch

Prime Rib Hash - gluten free with the exclusion of toast Smoked Salmon Plate - gluten free with the exclusion of toast ALL Omelets and Migas Gluten free if choosing a different side than herbed potatoes and if choosing corn tortillas for Migas Plate.
