I had mixed feelings about this restaurant. Nearly everything could be made gluten free, which is great, and the menu is clearly marked. Food is cooked in a separate pan and the staff is very knowledgeable. That said, the prices were pretty up there for tapas. The food was decent, but not good enough in my opinion to justify paying $18 for a small bowl of pad Thai, for example.

AMAZING for someone with Celiac! Almost the entire menu was gluten-free (just make sure to tell your sever because some items are gluten-free upon request). This was the first time where the asterisk (*) denoted non gluten-free items! Our server immediately knew what having celiac meant and explained to me that everything would be made in separate pans. She even knew soy sauce had gluten (Abroad uses Tamari so even dished with a soy base are safe!). The food was delicious, the setting was very trendy, highly recommend!

Abroad is a great little place that serves their food tapas style. Just about everything on their menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free.
