I had some of the BEST food of my life here. They make their gluten free pasta in house and it’s incredible. The staff were very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contact. There was a dedicated fryer too! It was such a treat.
Ate here a few nights ago and loved it. Our waiter (Nick) was very knowledgable. I had read a bunch of good reviews, and one bad, so I was a bit on edge, but it was great food. I had the sea bass special and a cauliflower appetizer and a cakestyle dessert. Very nice find.
House made gluten free pasta. Dedicated deep fryer. They know exactly how to handle food allergies and celiacs. The arinchini was fantastic, the most delicious cauliflower dish, and the pasta was the best I've ever had.

Both my wife and daughter are both Celiacs and we were thankful to find Acanto with several GF options. While the food was fantastic, despite ordering GF meals, both were nauseous and 1 violently ill during the night.

Food + atmosphere here were both great! My boyfriend has celiac disease and he didn’t have any issues after eating here. Our server was a bit unsure about our cross-contact questions but made sure to double check everything with the kitchen before we ordered. Unfortunately they brought out my bf’s gelato with a gluteny cookie so we had to send it back, but they fixed it quickly and that was the only issue. Yummy (celiac-safe) fried foods!
Easy to order GF items marked on the menu, my wife thought the Risotto was delicious 😋
House-made gluten free pasta, and they could modify just about any other dish, for example the fritto misto - they did a pan-fried version without any batter. Delicious!
A few gluten free selections on a small menu but very high quality ones. The server was knowledgeable and conscientious. The food was great.
Not sure what happened here, but was sick almost instantly after eating. And I cannot indefinitely chalk it up to being glutened because my entire party who are nonceliac also got sick, but I wouldn’t chance it here again.
Delicious GF dinner: bocs pear salad, GF pasta (SO FLAVORFUL), Branzino we’re all excellent!!!! Server, Eric, was knowledgeable and great!!!!! Highly recommend!!!
Modern Italian with homemade gluten free pasta! Other GF options were clearly marked as well. Good options are the octopus, the charcuterie platter (without bread), the black kale salad, stuffed dates, and any GF pasta preparation. The chocolate budino can also be modified and was very rich and indulgent
There are several marked gluten free items on the menu (appetizers, entrees, pasta and dessert). When I asked about the gluten free protocol the server asked immediately if I had celiac and explained that they make the pasta in house and use the same machine for their regular and GF pasta and that they have stringent sanitization, but can’t guarantee 100% gf. I was very reassured by his knowledgeability and he let me know that our food would take a while due to sanitizing the equipment. It did, but it was so worth it! Absolutely delicious.
