The best Thai food in the area; delicious and fresh. HOWEVER, they messed up my order the last time I went.

I asked them multiple times to make my order with steamed tofu rather than fried because I have a gluten intolerance and they fry samosas in the fryer, specified that it was an allergy order, and had them read it back to me. Yet each time they read it back to me, they said “green curry, fried tofu,” despite my multiple insistences that it COULD NOT BE FRIED because of an ALLERGY.

The person taking the order kept insisting “you’ll be okay, we don’t make food with gluten here,” to which I had to insist, yes, you do make food with gluten here and you fry it in the fryer. He ARGUED with me, which is so unlike my experiences with Acasia in the past. It finally seemed that he got it down correctly and I had it delivered. In the end, when they delivered my order, I ate a few bites of my curry before finding a chunk of FRIED TOFU. I am still feeling ill several days later.

I was especially angry that they tried to charge me to replace the rice when they remade my order, they didn’t apologize until I told them they had made me sick, they didn’t offer to comp my order, or really do anything to make up for getting my order wrong and getting me sick. I will not go back after this; I felt really disrespected in addition to getting sick. This is sad, because I ate there for over a year with nothing but good experiences.

I had a reaction even thought I orders my meal gluten free. Not sure if they know soy sauce has gluten in it? Food was good, but I definitely got sick as a celiac.

I've had better thai food. But the staff ate very good at making things gluten free. Even items such as calamari can be fried with brown rice and tapioca flour instead of breading. Very helpful and I feel fine! Warning that their food is spicy so order a bit lower than normal.
