Amazing food and drinks with no worries about cross contamination. Even my family members who do not eat gluten free loved the food.

Are here on 4-2 while visiting. Such a neat place with a cool vibe sitting right on a neighborhood street. Indoor or outdoor seating. Friendly workers and so many GF choices. Started with cheese dip and chips (instead of pretzel bites), followed by lobster Mac n cheese, and then a delicious flourless chocolate torte! Run, don’t walk to this place. Check out the menu…so much to pick from!

Acova is SO good!! All the food was amazing, so many GF options and no up charge for them. Plus some of the menu items were naturally GF. Those that weren’t could be modified to be. The service was excellent as well.

This was one of, if not the first, restaurants I ate at after my diagnosis. The owners wife has celiac and so they are passionate about celiac safety. Our server informed us that at Acova it is the gluten items that are contained to one area of the kitchen with the rest of the kitchen being gf, rather than the other way around which it how it would usually be. I got the lobster mac and cheese and while by now I have had a lot more experience with various gf pastas and I can say that the pasta itself wasn’t the best… the flavor was banging. To baby celiac me, it was one of the first times I felt excited to eat something in months and I thank the staff so much for making me feel safe enough to enjoy it.

Friends took me here while visiting because they knew it could be trusted. Had a gluten free beer, crab cakes, and sweet potato fries. I was very excited about having crab cakes for the first time since my diagnosis but was a bit disappoint - good flavor but texture was a bit mushy for my liking. Overall - yummy place that I felt very safe eating in.

We visit Denver at least once a year and found Acova on our last visit. This visit, we headed there literally straight from the airport because my husband (non-GF) and I both loved it. It’s easy to get to, has tons of gluten free and gluten free optional items, all labeled on the menu, and the servers seemed super knowledgeable and aware when I mentioned an allergy. So far, I’ve tried fish and chips, Mac and cheese, and apple donuts. The donuts were by far my favorite dish, although they’re not as donut-like as I assumed. I’m hoping to go back before we leave just to get them again! We’ll definitely be back — probably on every visit to Denver.

Amazing gluten free options! The majority of the menu is gf or has a gluten free option. They are knowledgeable and careful about celiac. They split the gf beer cheese dip into two separate bowls - one for my daughter with celiac and gave her gf chips, the other for my boys that are not celiac and they got pretzels. They have gf fried chicken that’s amazing. Can’t say enough about how great this place is

This restaurant is amazing! Especially for Celiacs. They have a dedicated fryer. Our server was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions thoroughly. We also had someone with a nut allergy and our server brought out the ingredients book for us to double check everything. I highly recommend this restaurant

So many GF options. We had the fish and chips and fried chicken. The fish and chips had a very crunchy and tasty breading. Homemade tartar sauce was perfect. The fried chicken was also very good. More like a breaded chicken cutlet with mashed potatoes and gravy. Next time I find myself back in Denver I will try the… so many options I am not sure.

I ordered here for takeout twice during my trip in Denver and it was delicious!! Only complaint is the salad is small portions for a lot of $$! But every single item on the menu can be made gluten free!

I met Betsy, an owner who has celiac as does her son. I chose fish & chip. All fryers are dedicated gluten free. All sandwiches can be GF. There are also many vegan options Prices are good with one side included.

I had the fish and chips, followed up with the Apple donuts. The rest of my party really enjoyed their food even though they weren’t celiac.

The waitress was so knowledgeable about their gluten-free options. Their menu is marked with all the gluten-free items and when I asked if they have a dedicated fryer, she said yes, and that they don’t have any gluten-containing flour in the restaurant. It’s not dedicated gluten-free, but they made me feel very safe. My boyfriend and I were going to share the gluten-free fried chicken, so they split the meal onto two different plates for us without us even asking. Overall, I would definitely go back!

I love Betsy and her staff. I’ll be very real here tho. She isn’t celiac like she tells ppl. Her son is neurodivergent & she got him off meds by going gluten free. This is NOT the same as understanding the need for allergy friendly establishments.
The 3 vegan options here for celiacs are: 1- Tasetless nachos (plain canned beans poured over plan unseasoned corn chips with shredded Daiya leaves something to be desired to say the least...)
2- Veggie wrap with no cooked veggies on it & very little protein.
3- Several ‘meh’ salads, of course as always for celiacs. All with unexceptional vinegar based dressings that don’t truly compliment the salad they’re paired with..it’s like they’re served with it just to say they did use a dressing.
Overall my family loves this spot. They’re huge meat lovers. I can’t process meat or dairy.
This place honestly kinda sucks for me if I want to do anything other than snack and get drunk. I get to watch my family while I drool & basically have the same sadness I did when I was first diagnosed. Watching everyone else enjoy the shit outta their meals while everything they serve as vegan is truly subpar compared to the rest of their stellar menu! :(

Amazing!! Dinner (fried chicken and gravy) and dessert (berry cobbler) was out of this world. It is soo nice to have some GF options that really feed the soul!! Everything was clearly marked as GF; I experienced no illness or symptoms of being “glutened.” Highly recommended and can be delivered to your hotel via GrubHub. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

I absolutely loved Acova. Everyone was so nice. Going out to eat is usually pretty stressful, but I felt so comfortable here. basically everything on their menu is GF or had a GF alternative. The waiter told me the owner has Celiacs too so they take very careful precautions. And when they brought my food, they made sure to mention mine was gluten free, I didn’t even have to ask just in case. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!

All their fryers do gluten free. Various fries and fried fish and fried chicken. No cross contamination issues. Fish and chips were decent tasting and filling. I have had better. They use gf beer and I was never a fan of beer. I would have liked more fish and less fries. Overall decent flavor abd filling. A bit pricy but it is Denver.

I loved this place! I never eat out at undedicated restaurants because I’m ridiculously sensitive to cross contamination, but while visiting Denver and reading the reviews I went ahead and tried it. I am SO glad I did. The owner has celiac and has several precautions set in place to prevent cross contamination. While ordering, the staff were beyond accommodating and really reassured me that I would be safe eating their food and I had no reaction! 110% recommend this place and everything on the menu.

Awesome!! Crab cakes came with two very small cakes but were delicious.. just definitely not enough for even a small meal! Dixie chicken on the brunch menu was a great value for the price. My husband got the prime rib sandwich on regular bread but im sure it would be great on GF bread too! Overall, awesome little spot for brunch/lunch. We made a reservation on OpenTable which was a must with covid restrictions on a busy weekend!
The waitress was gluten free as well and could answer all my questions. I tried the fried chicken, crab cake and green Chile soup. All so amazing, definitely coming back.

The gluten-free dishes and those that have gluten-free options are very clearly marked on the menu. They have a wide variety of options and everything we had (appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts) was outstanding.
My wife was recently diagnosed with celiac and has been very down about all of the things that she can’t eat anymore. This restaurant has so many GF and GFO selections that she felt like a queen - there were so many good options that she had a hard time deciding. The food was great, the service was amazing (thank you, Sam!) and we will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been here 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Almost everything can be made gluten free or is already made gluten free and I never have any stomach issues after I leave. Met the owner who has celiac and she is extremely dedicated to making sure all items that are noted or requested gluten free are prepared with extra precaution since she knows what it’s like. Highly recommended

Great food. Dedicated fryer, knowledgeable staff. This is a great little local spot for tasty food. Crab cakes and Tuna Tostadas are really good off the appetizer menu. Beef shortribs and the fried chicken are great off the entree menu. Worth the drive!
