Amazing restaurant. Owner has celiac so there are separate prep areas and fryers for GF. Fish and chips is especially good. The fried chicken looked incredible too. There are GF desserts too. You’ll be in great hands here. Safe for celiacs. Very approachable menu and hip restaurant and location. Perfect for date night, families, etc.

My wife was recently diagnosed with celiac and has been very down about all of the things that she can’t eat anymore. This restaurant has so many GF and GFO selections that she felt like a queen - there were so many good options that she had a hard time deciding. The food was great, the service was amazing (thank you, Sam!) and we will definitely be back.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been here 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Almost everything can be made gluten free or is already made gluten free and I never have any stomach issues after I leave. Met the owner who has celiac and she is extremely dedicated to making sure all items that are noted or requested gluten free are prepared with extra precaution since she knows what it’s like. Highly recommended

Great food. Dedicated fryer, knowledgeable staff. This is a great little local spot for tasty food. Crab cakes and Tuna Tostadas are really good off the appetizer menu. Beef shortribs and the fried chicken are great off the entree menu. Worth the drive!

My husband surprised me with a reservation here for Valentine’s Day. This place was such a wonderful surprise! I have missed having new celiac safe places to eat out… Now I have a new restaurant to come by and try lots and lots and lots of GF options. We had the the pork nachos as an appetizer and they were big enough to share - but I wanted to have more! So We had the fish and chips- Which were so light and flaky and tender. The fried chicken she said was one of the most often ordered items in the restaurant and the gravy on top of the mashed potatoes was amazing! I am not embarrassed to say that I started my meal with dessert and had the apple donuts The owner is celiac!

Had NYE dinner here with my wife. I’m a Celiac and she’s dairy free. The server was very knowledgeable about food preparation and ingredients. Whatever she wasn’t sure about she checked with the kitchen/owner. The hot wings are awesome and the spare rib was super tender and flavorful. They have only one deep frier and no gluten ever goes into it. Score! This place is legit and safe for me.

Acova gave my and my husband a great place to meet up with our former neighbors without worrying about cross contact. I ordered an Acova burger with sweet potato fries and crab cakes for an appetizer. I didnt have to worry about anything on my plate being wrong. I did return a drink because it came with a paper straw. The owner came by and told us that the paper straws were gluten free---she is celiac and she made sure to order the correct straws.

Great find, food is delicious, service was great, and as others have stated, Celiac aware. Didn't get sick, I had the Tamale Hash. We went for brunch, totally booked, sat at the bar, which is fine with us, but if you want a table, I recommend calling in a reservation.

BEST Gf restaurant I have ever been to. They aren’t 100% GF, but a large portion of the menu is or can be made that way. Very knowledgeable about Celiac. I had the chicken, my dad had the fish and chips. I tried both and didn’t get sick, and I’m super sensitive. They have a dedicated fryer. The entire place has a wonderful atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I recommend this to everyone!

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Almost everything on the menu is either GF or can be modified to be GF. My husband was able to have fried chicken, one of his all-time favorites! And we shared this incredible fried apple doughnut dessert. As others have said, one of the owners has celiac and so does their son. They know how to prepare safe food and their staff are extremely knowledgeable. My daughter lives in the area and commented that the prices were some of the most reasonable they have found.

What a gem this place is. The ambience is awesome, the decor is so hip and cool. Betsy is the owner and has celiac disease, so the menu is perfect for someone with celiac. Tons of options, all safe, the waitress (Katherine ) was very familiar with gluten-free dining and cross-contamination. We had delicious fried chicken, nachos, Caesar salad. I wish we had more time to go back a second time.

ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I HAVE COME ACROSS!! 10/10. I have very sensitive celiac and will only eat at 4 places. Betsy, the owner, has celiac disease herself, and came out to talk to me before my food came. Not only was she so sweet, but she reassured me that this is a place where celiacs are welcome! All of the friers are gluten free, which is a celiacs dream! Will be back, for sure.
