Traditional Portuguese restaurant and so cheap - which is why it’s so busy, so best to book. Most of the staff spoke very little English so showed them my Portuguese Gluten Free translation card. An English speaking waiter explained my choices on the menu, I chose Hake and then checked with the chef that they were able to make it completely gluten free. It was in batter, the waiter confirmed it they could make it gluten free which was reassuring. I had a delicious lemon mousse sorbet for dessert. Simple, straightforward traditional Portuguese cuisine, mostly fish or meat served with rice. We loved it!
