The comment below is old and the restaurant is in different hands now. I have been avoiding it until I hear more. This is my favorite local joint. I’m celiac and with the help of the excellent waitstaff, I’ve never gotten ill following an Adrift meal. Top notch ingredients, and talented cooks—this is a celiac’s easiest decision.
We ate there at lunch and just had burgers (with a gluten free bun) which were quite good. There were several other items on the menu that sounded tasty and were gluten free (e.g., cipppino). If we were in town one more day, we would have headed back to try other options.
Twice the person on the phone could not even tell us if they have gf buns. Each time they hung up.
Great food, excellent service, and knowledgeable staff. After asking whether the Veggie Tacos that I ordered were not just gluten-free but also prepared separately (since I suffer from celiac disease), the waitress told me that the chef had made sure to change his gloves for my meal. The tacos and the Chocolate Coconut Mousse that I had for dessert both tasted really good. The prices were reasonable as well. My non-gf company also enjoyed the "normal" sandwich they had, so I recommend this place for both people who have to eat gluten-free and non-gf folks alike and will mark this restaurant as celiac friendly.
Holy shit. This place is amazing. They got swamped with a surprise 100+ attendee wedding, so our wait was a little long, but I've been to places with longer waits and worse food. The service was friendly and energetic. The food was phenomenal, and they had GF options listed clearly on the menu! The GF buns are delish! I would eat here every day if I lived nearby, but I have definitely found my new road trip stop on our way north!
