Came by for lunch-was only a few options which were a few salads and the whipped feta dip without the bread. The salads looked good to me but I’m not a salad person. I got the whipped feta which was delicious but kinda sad that was one of the only substantial options.
The dishes we had were divine. Ordered the filet mignon, which is THE most tender and deliciously prepared of any I’ve ever had — and I come from a beef producing state. Days after this dining experience, I’m still dreaming of the unique and deliciously flavored and textured brocollini dish and the amazing Japanese sweet potatoes. Each dish is a stand-alone and dreamy. I promise that no words can adequately describe the taste experience. I’ve eaten at Michelin Star restaurants, and these dishes are most certainly that caliber. The restaurant atmosphere is very casual and when busy, loud. Cafe style. Not complaining — however, this is not a white table cloth romantic dinner dining room. Much of it is open to the outside, and is clearly a hot spot. The line to order food was next to our table the entire night. Regardless, I’ll be targeting traveling to Laguna Beach specifically for this food in the future. I’m an extremely sensitive Celiac and have zero reactions.
