We also had the buffet as the Dining Room is still closed for renovation. Unfortunately, the staff at the buffet was not only totally unaware of what cross-contamination and celiac means but also really unfriendly. After some discussion and complaining to our host, I got my polenta, salad and seafood directly out of the kitchen. As there wasn't any gluten free dessert on the buffet, they brought me a delicious flour free chocolate cake and as a recompensation for the trouble I got a glass of wine for free. Anyway, my conclusion is that the food doesn't meet the expectations the hotel creates and that it's not really a good place for celiacs.

The buffet menu on the outer doors listed only 2 gf options (prime rib and salad) but we had reservations and nowhere else to eat so we gave it a shot. Once inside I discovered the buffet was clearly marked and the stations were spaced apart to reduce cross contamination. I had grilled chicken, sea bass, prime rib, cheesy polenta, roasted potatoes, green beans, and corn succatacsh. It was all delicious. I approached the dessert table and discovered the cross contamination was going to be an issue for the gf cheesecake, so I asked our server if they could bring some from the kitchen. They were very accommodating.

Very knowledgeable staff, a number of gluten free options are available. Our server explained some prep options to modify some other menu offerings as well. A great example - classic French onion soup with gluten free crostini is delicious! Classic Yosemite experience - well worth it!

I’ve only ever eaten here for their breakfast buffet, but it definitely has gluten-free options. The options are fairly cut and dry: eggs, bacon, potatoes (these are gf, and not fried in common oil), tapas, seafood, fruit, yogurt, etc. I never leave hungry or wishing there were better options. Just avoid the cereals, bagels, muffins, etc. There is also sausage, but I’ve not asked whether or not it contains wheat or MSG.
I became sick after eating there. Even though server was friendly and aware of gluten issues I still became sick.

Great special occasion restaurant. The menu denotes items that can be made GF, quite an extensive list. They were also able to accommodate my DF request. Beautiful dining room in a fantastic location. A do not miss! Be sure to make a reservation.
