terrible! shift leader knew nothing about gluten or vegan...what a waste of time since we drove 30 mins just to try it after we read reviews here and elsewhere. family felt unwelcome.

Celiacs be careful. I am one myself, and eating Asian food is always a challenge. My girlfriend and her sister live in the area and absolutely love this place, so of course we had to go when I was in town. They asked in Cantonese if the broths had soy sauce or wheat, and they assured us that they didn't. To my knowledge and judgment, all of the broths seemed gfree though some of the sauces-which you can mix and match at the counter away from your table- are soy sauce based. I got the spicy and the healthy broths and did not get sick. which I almost always get sick while dining out. I say it's a definite maybe for Celiacs, and a go for it, for non-Celiacs.WARNING: it is a Hotpot joint, (and one of the best) so you need to be careful that those in your party don't contaminate the broth pot. Otherwise, all of the (all you can eat) meat and veggies are raw and uncontaminated!!!
