Great place for an evening meal, the staff are friendly and welcoming, which was very needed after a day of travelling. The menu is varied and has options for everyone, and gluten free options are clearly labelled and the staff are knowledgeable and will answer any questions about allergens. The food itself was delicious and the portion sizes are very generous, very classic Italian food done beautifully!

I was worried. We went up to this gorgeous courtyard restaurant and inquired about gluten free, and they were unconcerned and said, of course yes, they could serve me gluten free. I went TWICE. Lol. On the second night, they recognized us, remembered our orders, and were just wonderful. Night 1 I got the caprese and the pasta bolegnase. On the second night I got the cacio de pepe and grilled prawns. All the food was very very good, but the prawns were next level. I also ordered the half bottle of Pinot noir, and it was great. Eating under the stars next to a large church in a large piazza is not a memory I will forget.

Get a reservation. Even if they’re kinda empty and they have seats they want you to have reserved your table. Pro tip: you can reserve right before you go on their website.
