Whomp whomp. Asked the waiter if he gets people with GF allergies often and he confidently said ‘yes’! I asked if the popcorn was GF and he said he didn’t know but he probably should. Made no effort past that. Strike 1. Then I asked if the fryer was dedicated and if there was any reason to be concerned that the fryer was used for anything else. He said no and he would make sure to add lots of exclamation marks to the note for the kitchen. Then he asked how to spell gluten. Strike 2. Meal came out and my fries were on the same plate as the gluten bread burger that my boyfriend ordered. We had ordered separately. Strike 3. Did not eat and I fully have no confidence they know what is safe. Lucky for me, I know the red flags and simply enjoyed the movie.
