My 11 year old coeliac daughter had the gluten free open plate chicken dish without fries and is now sick. Some years back they had been able to cater for her and even had safe fried calamari and fries without any issues. But I think the place is no longer able to cater safely for coeliacs and their gluten free menu is not for the coeliac community

Separate GF menu. Staff seemed really clued up on coeliac and GF. Delicious food, quite expensive but lovely quality. No separate fryers so although calamari and chips etc were on the GF Menu, as a coeliac I couldn’t order them as they are cooked in the same oil as gluten containing foods.

In contrast to the other reviewer, our waitress wasn't helpful at all when it came to questions about cross contamination. A few eye rolls and a general lack of patience. I asked her to check that the items I ordered could be prepared GF for me and she never returned. Just too casual to give me confidence. However the small plate items we choose from a moderate selection (no GF fryer narrowed options) were really nice. Our friends had to send their mousaka back as it was cold in the middle.

A Greek restaurant out in lovely Mcrae on the Mornington Peninsula. Beautiful decor and vibe, and the food was wonderful. Wait staff were knowledgeable re coeliac/gf requirements, and most of the menu was gluten free or able to be adapted. Bookings are essential in the evenings as this place is definitely popular with the locals and tourists alike.
