Albatross Drive-In

Had a delicious cheeseburger on a gluten free bun. I didn’t make it complicated or ask a ton of questions, but they happily answered my questions and did everything they could to eliminate contamination. Only had the burger as no gf sides were available. My family greatly enjoyed their full gluten food too.

I had a regular burger and a cup of ice cream. I saw all the great reviews but the lady that took my order wasn’t helpful and they were busy. Being on an island with few options I just hoped all would be fine. They did label my food gf. However I gave this a 4 star because I didn’t feel like they gave me the confidence that they take precautions. I did not get sick though.

Had a fabulous Cowboy Burger!! The workers were so accomodating. They covered the grill with foil and checked the barbeque sauce for me. They were awesome. I would recommend this stop on Washington Island to anyone with Celiac Disease!!

A GREAT burger with GREAT gluten free bun! Tender bun - not dry and crumbly like many of the buns we have had at other restaurants at home. The blueberry shake was ADDICTIVE! Will return!
