I had a vegan muffuletta here. The really nice thing is they gave me two for the price of one as gf bread is so small. It was really good and my non gf friends wanted one because it looked and smelled amazing.
Simple but super tasty grilled cheese and game sandwich in GF bread.
Best Muffuletta on gluten free bread! I ordered online and picked up my order for the past 2 days! Farmers Market in the French market gets very crowded. Order before you go! Every sandwich can be made with gluten free bread!

Only place I’ve found that will make a gf muffaleta. Takes a few minutes but it’s tasty! Sangria was also good.
Alberto’s was great! Got the muffuletta sandwich on gf bread. It was so good we went back the next day and had the caprese sandwich.
They can make any of there sandwiches GF with Udi’s sandwich bread. They do not have a dedicated kitchen but they clean all the surfaces to make gluten free food! I had no issues with the food and it tasted delicious! The lady taking my order was knowledgeable and nice!
Went here for an early dinner/late lunch since website said it closed at 6pm we got there at 5:10 and the lady let me know they close their kitchen at 5pm. She was kind enough to give us free water for our walk there, so we went back the next day for lunch and got a veggie muffuletta and a turkey sandwich on gluten free bread , both were delicious and no one felt sick. Good service. Good food. Good options. Good Bloody Mary.
I had the gluten free muffaletta. It was the best sandwich i ever had. They advised the kitchen it was for an allergy.
I came here unexpectedly just walking around the French Market! First time in New Orleans, and having celiac I was very skeptical because I’ve had this app, and just upgraded the app. This place is a hidden gem, I got a 1/4 gluten free Muffuletta, and it was great, very delicious even though we had to wait 40 minutes
Prep area is shared and when taking my order I informed the person taking my order that I had Celiac. His was response to me was this exactly and I quote “we have a shared prep space due to the kitchen being so small and we also share the grill with wheat items so we cannot guarantee that everything we serve you won’t be cross contaminated with wheat because we toast all the bread on the same grill. So there may be some wheat on the gluten free sand which.” So there for I cannot recommend this place to anyone who has celiac. And those who have eaten here who claim to have celiac I cannot vouch for. 🧐 However it is a high risk in my opinion not worth being sick over. They did however offer to wipe the grill but still said gluten could be present just less of it.

The prep space is shared, but they ensured me they wipe down and clean their grill for gluten-free orders. I got the muffuletta, and it was so good that I barely noticed the Udi’s bread! You might have the same question I had which is “what the heck is a 1/4 of a sandwich if it’s on GF bread??” For your reference I ordered a 1/4” sandwich and it was a normal sized Udi’s sandwich.
I was incredibly nervous about this but really had my heart set on having a classic muffaletta in New Orleans again, but gluten free. This place is in the hectic activity of the French Market and I was terrified of cross contamination etc but I'm glad I stopped here. It took extra time for them to make my order because they take all the proper protocols etc but it was well worth that wait! The sandwich was wonderful, and I did not get sick. You can tell the gluten free apart from their regular because the bread is different and they had examples in a display case we could see before placing our order.
All sandwiches can be made gf (with udi’s bread). I had the ham and brie sandwich. It was delicious and I did not get sick!
Ordered the Asiago Beef sandwich gluten free. Was not disappointed. It was so good! All sandwiches can be made gluten free and mine came toasted. I’m just sorry I didn’t visit this place until the last day of my holiday

I was so excited to discover this gem of a restaurant. I had the muffaletta and it was wonderful.
The muffalata was to die for! Any sandwich at this establishment can made GF. Yea, service is slow but you are in the French Market of NOLA. Enjoy the people watching and have a drink while you wait.

Based on the reviews I decided to give this place a try. When I asked about gf options and precautions the lady said I should go to the booth next door (Meals from the heart) as they specialize in gf. I personally didnt care for thier menu and really wanted a gf Philly. She said they are happy to take extra precautions such as cleaning the grill and switching gloves. I decide to order. The sandwich was great and no reactions.
I had a GF mufaletta. Best sandwich ever. It has tons of deliciousness infused into one sandwich. If you like Mediterranean food- this is the spot for you!
Tested gluten free mufaletta with NIMA and it was contaminated with gluten. Not celiac safe.
I enjoyed a delicious gluten free vegetarian muffalata! I ordered a half, and could only finish half of that! The olive salad on it good enough to eat with a spoon!

Came to New Orleans looking for a GF muffaleta and they did not disappoint! While I would have preferred homemade GF bread, it was still good on the Udi's bread. The sangria smelled delicious too, though I didn't imbibe.
We had breakfast at Meals from the heart( amazing btw) and came back for a muffuletta for lunch. It was delicious!
Had a muffaletta for the first time in years. Get a 1/4, unless sharing then get a 1/2. Also had a caprese salad. Great spot if your are in the Quarter.

The gluten free muffuletta is great! A half comes with two sandwiches, but they’re pretty small.
One of my must haves when I’m in New Orleans!! I have eaten here several times over the last two years and never had a problem.
I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon, turkey, havarti and gouda cheese. It was very good. They grill on the same surface that they grill the regular bread on. That concerned me because I have celiac, but they promised that they clean it. For that reason I would not recommend it for Celiacs. I did chance it...because the cashier said they had a lot of repeat Celiac there. If I get sick I will update this post!!

Found this by accident but went back today for muffalatta gf sandwich. Yum!!!!! And the had Stella Artois cider too.
Order at counter and find seats across in French market. So nice as you wait you can browse at the vendors art and wares for sale.

Had an amazing gluten free muffaleta. The guy who took my order was uh, less than nice. Simply ordered 1/4 gluten free muffaleta. Came on toasted gf bread. It was one of the best things I've had here so far and centrally located. Didn't get sick.
