went to your restaurant yesterday, noticed there was no one waiting(the zoo was packed). I now see why. What have you done to the menu? Shaved octopus on spinach, be serious. What happend to the pot stickers and artichokes. Had the steak salad which was on a ring of frissee salad with 6 pieces of steak. where was the salad:???? Plus the price was 17.00/ What a rip off. There were lamb hot dogs. Be serious. This is a zoo, not a gourmet restaurant. You had good food and you spoiled it. Very disappointed. Didn't even know that there was a gulten free diet until I went to write this review. Did not see reference to it on the regular menu. The good thing was the french fries. don't change them. Great food. I ordered the artichoke hearts and the risotto with chicken. The risotto was amazing as was the artichoke, but the artichoke may have been cross contaminated. I had a slight reaction after eating, but it went away relatively quickly. I went with family and they all enjoyed their non gluten free food as well.
There are limited safe food options throughout the zoo but Alberts has a full gluten free menu and it's delicious! We enjoyed the artichoke hearts for an app and the wild mushroom spinach risotto for a main. Servings are enough for 2 people. Plan $25 per person.
