I ordered online and said I had an allergy not to toast the bread. My bread ended up being toasted. I called to check if it was a shared toaster and they said it was. The girl said we saw you wanted the gf bread so we just toasted it because we weren’t sure. 🤦🏻‍♀

Excellent food but although they offer gluten free toast it's toasted in the same toaster as gluten toast. No dedicated gluten free area so not safe for celiacs to ingest specialty "gf" items. They have also glutened my omlettes even when I requested gf (and explained it’s not just a preference).

This was already one of the best diners in the area, but with the recent addition of gluten free bread, it'll now be a much more frequent stop for me.The bread wasn't on the menu, but they stock a brand called Fresh Meadow gluten free bread for people who ask for it. its good! very hearty, multigrain type of bread. So if you're gluten free and in this region, stop by this place. Now instead of just getting an omelette or salad, you have much more of the menu opened up to you.

EDIT July 2015: They have new seemingly paired down menu, and the food is a bit different. They still have Gluten free bread, but its noticeably drier and thinner when toasted. The Rueben used to be very moist and juicy, and now it's super dry and not worth ordering. Not sure if this is the case with more dishes. Still a great diner with GF options.
