The food was very disappointing, especially for the prices. The calamari was very tough and looked like to came directly from the freezer. The gluten free rolls were hard as rocks-I couldn’t break them apart, and my fish tasted greasy-it looked like it was cooked in old oil that had burnt. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

This place (Alo with their sister restaurant, Elizabeth's) is the best! Entire menu is available except for it's.s that are 'stuffed' like ravioli or stuffed fish dishes. Calamari was delicious. Rolls are good. We will be back many times.

Awesome food!! Ed was an excellent waiter, and was very sensitive about allergies. 90% of the menu could be made to order gluten free, and as an extremely sensitive Celiac I ate there with no problem whatsoever. I was very nervous to try but would definitely recommend!

The GF Calamari is a GREAT! I recommend classic with sauce, I’ve tried both. The food is freshly made & delicious. Most of the menu can be made gluten free .. Marsala, Bolognese , Alfredo, etc. I have come a couple times & will return when in the area. I hope you enjoy it👍👏🏻😊✨✌

Our entrees were great and the cheesecake was out of this world! We will gladly make the 45 mins drive again to enjoy a delicious meal here again!

After about six months of trying to be 100% gluten free (Celiak) I've learned that many restaurants miss the mark despite trying to serve GF meals. Algarve specializes in GF dishes which prompted our party of four to give it a try.

Arriving at about 6:00 PM on Friday night we were a little concerned upon noticing a mostly empty parking lot. We were pleasantly greeted and seated right away, then met our server who was very helpful in addressing my dietary concerns. I was happy to learn that there was no special GF menu, but most all of their regular menu could be prepared gluten free in a dedicated GF section of the kitchen. I was able to enjoy several freshly baked GF biscuits which were outstanding, reminding me of popovers. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals which were either Portuguese or Italian influenced. My veal francais and side dish of spaghetti were as good as I've ever had.

They truly do it right and should be rewarded for their efforts. The dining room, bar and parking lot were considerably more busy when we left but certainly not the volume expected for the quality, making this a nice change when Friday evening restaurant waiting lines are the norm in this area. This building has been the home of numerous failed restaurants over the past decade. I'm guessing that it might have something to do with visibility of the restaurant, configuration of the parking lot or something along those lines. Please consider checking out this clean, nicely decorated and cozy spot... I'm hoping that they will be there for a good, long time.

They have gluten free bread crumbs, bread and pasta! Our waitress Barbara was very accomodating. I finally was able to have fried Calamari gluten free! The sauce was amazing. I was served warm gluten free bread and butter which is hard to come by. Having Celiac Disease is awful when you have very few places you can eat and feel safe from getting glutened. Only went once but I'll definitely be back.

Waitress Barbara was extremely nice and helpful. Almost anything on the menu can be made gluten free and they use a dedicated fryer. The calamari was lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The cheese rolls were crunchy on the outside. Salad very fresh. Codfish casserole absolutely yummy. My family all loved their dishes too.
