I’ve been here several years ago and had a great experience. So we came back and I was super excited. I was lucky that a lady after me ordered vegan Döner (Seitan). So I witnessed that the fryer is contaminated. I then asked about cross contamination but the couldn’t understand me because of their lack of German skills. Seemingly no knowledge of gluten and cross contamination. Didn’t feel very safe.

— Average

Warning: Gluten-free kebab is available but is not suitable for people with celiac disease. It can become contaminated at any point and work is not done cleanly. There have been new staff for a few months who work carelessly and not cleanly. They don't even know what gluten is, but they still offer "gluten-free" on the menu.

The staff beforehand was much better, friendly and worked cleanly. I always liked going to Ali Baba but since the new staff, I can no longer recommend the kebab and I don't go there anymore.

It’s great that there is a glutenfree Döner available. The taste and quality of the Döner is good. The staff however is not trying very hard to limit cross contamination. They bake the gf bread on a small piece of aluminium foil in the oven, which is probably alright, but they place the bread on the counter where there is a lot of flour. They do not use fresh utensils to cut and prepare your Döner. The same is true for the vegetables and meat. Conclusion: enjoyed the taste but felt sick afterwards.

Wir waren vor etwa 2 Jahren hier und leider wurde mein glutenfreies Brot mit dem gleichen Messer auf der gleichen Unterlage wie die glutenhaltigen aufgeschnitten. Ich denke es war zum Teil auch meine Schuld, ich habe zwar gesagt dass ich Zöliakie habe aber nicht ausdrücklich darum gebeten dass das Essen nicht mit dem anderen in Berührung kommt, beim nächsten Mal würde ich da mehr kommunizieren.

Bin vor kurzem extra eineinhalb Stunden hierher gefahren, da es sonst in meiner Umgebung sehr wenige Optionen gibt, etwas mit meinen Allergien zu finden. Ich habe eine Weizenallergie und vertrage kein Gluten, sowie Laktose. Der Dönermann behandelt dies wie ein Profi und stellt zu 100% sicher, dass keine Spuren von Weizen an den glutenfreien Döner gelangen mit top Hygienestandards. Hatte keine allergischen Reaktionen danach und kann es jedem mit Zöliakie und ähnlichen Allergien empfehlen.
