This isn’t a dedicated GF facility, but most options are able to be made GF. The fryer is dedicated GF, and the people who work here understand allergy, contamination, and they have protocols in place to prevent contamination.
We had GF fried chicken biscuits. The person who took our order is also GF and was able to make good recommendations for us. When the food came out, the girl confirmed (without us asking) that everything was GF.
The coffees are good. The craft soda selection is good. The fried chicken was amazing. This place has a great vibe. Lots of seating, very chill/friendly environment.
We’ll be back here anytime we are in the area. Absolutely delicious.
Most amazing GF fried chicken biscuit. They make it clear that it is a shared kitchen, but they do their best! I really appreciated the waiter announcing that it was the GF fried chicken biscuit when he set the plate down. I loved the reassurance!
I ordered the breakfast bowl, yum! I told the waitress I had a medical condition so I couldn't eat gluten and they took note to prevent cross contact. The only concern was that the menu and the waitress gave different information. The menu said they could NOT prevent cross contact with items like GF bread as its made in the same kitchen. The waitress said they COULD prevent cross contact and most menu items were celiac safe. Just to be extra safe, I picked a naturally gluten free menu item. It was delicious! Lots of options and they took my food restriction seriously.
Celiac friendly and so delicious! I am a very sensitive Celiac, and I felt very comfortable here. There were so many options, and the GF quiche, pancakes, salad, and fries were amazing. I always remind the staff to tell the kitchen to change gloves, use fresh utensils, use clean pans, etc, and they were happy to do so. I highly recommend!
Excellent. Would definitely come back. A bit pricey, but worth it. Got GF Thunderbird, GF Thunderbowl, side of fries, and Palomas (they have a drinks menu). GF roll made on site and there was a case that had some GF pastries, too, that we didn’t try. See photos for menu and pictures of the food.
Non-celiac. We walked 20min one way three mornings in a row to eat here, it is that good! I never would have ordered it, but luckily my non-gf spouse did order the granola bowl. We shared it, and the flavors are just amazing. It is so good. The pancakes are delicious. Gf biscuits are good. Everything else looked good also. There is a line during peak hours. It is close to the visitor center.
Great location, staff, vibe, food and drink. Totally serious and disciplined about their GF menu!
Great experience here. I have celiac and am very sensitive, was dining with someone with a host of allergies including dairy and wheat. They were conscientious and guided us well. The food was delicious and neither of us reacted. I had The Standard with bacon on a GF biscuit and my DF/wheat-free dining partner had GF fried chicken on a dairy free roll. We each had a side of delicious fries. I would definitely go out of my way to come here again.
Tiny little place that is much more accommodating and flexible than you would imagine just looking at it from the street! Got a triple espresso and the GF biscuit (not on menu but they have them if you ask!) with fried chicken and harissa aioli and honey. The fryer is dedicated GF but the GF bread is made in the same kitchen as regular bread. As a symptomatic celiac I did take the risk to eat the biscuit but I felt fine and had no reaction!
Very accommodating. I asked the staff to help me navigate the menu with Celiac and a dairy allergy and they not only patiently helped, but also double-checked with the kitchen re: the GF biscuit (which contains cheese, so a no go for me). Quick service and the GF fried chicken was so good!
I just ate here twice. The fried chicken biscuit was OK, a bit dry but the harissa aioli and honey were more delicious than I expected. But the Standard breakfast sandwich was amazing. I got that one on a roll. There’s a lovely neighborhood cafe atmosphere.
So good we went there two days in a row. My daughter is celiac and had no ill effects. They told us the fryer is dedicated and understood our needs for food prep. The gf foods we ate were fried chicken, fries, avocado toast, pancakes, and salad. Everything we ate was yummy
I have celiac and live locally - this is a fav for me. After living here for 4 years and visiting frequently, I have YET to have a gluten reaction! This place is so good at catering to celiac disease/gluten free. I basically never worry - and I am incredibly sensitive to cross contamination. Highly recommend, the food is always delicious, their gf options are many and so so good. Feel safe and enjoy!
