No understanding of allergies. After telling them I have a gluten allergy and specifically not to put bread on my bowl, it came with pieces of bread and breaded chicken that fell on it. And they never brought out the salad my mom ordered.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE Shared my gluten free travel card in Spanish. Bread was brought to the table, I again stated that I have celiac and can not eat even the smallest amount of bread (pan), my salad came out with bread on top of it. I again stated that I can’t eat even the smallest amount they brought the salad right back out without the bread. I asked if it was the same salad they said yes. I again stated that have a disease that makes me very sick from the smallest amount of gluten, wheat (trigo) and they made me a new salad. I was terrified to eat even a bite. I ended up having a panic attack and left the restaurant without eating. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE

I ate here twice whilst in cartagena. I had a tomato salad (it was delicious) and a chickpea dish. They seemed to understand coeliac and what was gluten free. I had no issues.

Delicious food, elegant setting. The wait staff was slightly confused about celiac (even with our restaurant card) but the kitchen understood. Very nice meal.

I’ve been to Alma three times and each time was wonderful.
The food and experience is always impeccable.
The servers are well-versed in what is gluten-free and items are clearly marked on the menu.
My favourite is the Tomato salad (a Caprese salad with tomatoes prepared 5 different ways), the Creamy Seafood Rice (a Seafood Risotto) and at my last visit, I discovered their Keto gf cake!
Highly, highly recommended!!!
