We stopped here while passing through Visalia. I hoped to order boba tea or shave ice. I asked the first server if she knew if the flavor powder for one of the drinks had gluten. She didn’t understand my question. She went and got what appeared to be an owner. She too didn’t know what the word “gluten” was. She said she’d read the label and look for gluten. I asked to read the label. She returned and Sid the label didn’t mention gluten. Sadly we left. I couldn’t trust a powder that was completely blind to us. It may have been safe. We’ll never know.
