So here’s one I’ve never encountered before: they told me their white rice has gluten. I assume they mean it is somehow contaminated (or someone read glutinous rice on a package and thought that’s what it meant, in which case good looking out, we appreciate you, but it’s actually okay). Apparently their brown rice and rice noodles don’t have that issue? That does not make any sense to me, but okay. I wouldn’t order online here I’d talk to an actual person. There’s a few things marked gf that aren’t actually. Sesame seeds and white rice are the ones I found. Once you dodge those pitfalls you can get a pretty good bowl. It’s huge and pricy but it can definitely be two meals. They have a bowl on the menu called the No G that’s entirely gluten free, but it has crispy onions on it and I didn’t really feel up to interrogating them on their frying process (some days you just don’t want to, you know) so I opted for build your own.
