Altis Avenida Hotel

I stopped by here for breakfast since a review said they have GF pastries. The breakfast is a buffet, but I asked for just a pastry and cappuccino and was given a much better price. I was offered muffins, lemon cake, bread, or croissant. I ordered the croissant and was given jams and some lemon cake as well. The lemon cake and jams were fantastic! The croissant was heavier than I’d hoped and definitely tasted “gluten free.” Would come back for the cake or to try other items! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about gluten.

This hotel was so accommodating! We told them in advance about our celiac and they gave us a welcome fruit platter instead of whatever gluten they usually give. For breakfast they gave us a plate full of gf pastries and breads and gave us fresh food instead of having us take from the buffet Incase of cross contamination!
