I tried this place because the owner of Nudie in Athens told me the owner is celiac. It turned out the owner has a wheat allergy which I think isn't exactly the same 😅
Anyway the waitress spoke perfect English and she was very willing to help. I showed her my restaurant card and then she discussed the options with the chef. She brought a menu with the dishes that could be made gluten-free marked on the side. She also mentioned they have moussaka made with corn flour but it needed to go in the oven. I wanted to keep it safe so she recommended the grilled or fried dishes which required the least preparation. Therefore, I went for the grilled feta and the fried chicken.
I didn't expect a dessert but they offered to make yogurt with honey and walnuts which was simple and amazing 😋 at the end they also offered me a digestive.
I had no symptoms the next day so I would recommend giving this place a shot keeping in mind that they are not super experienced with celiac but are very willing to help.
