I can’t say much about the safety of the place, but the staff don’t seem to be very well trained on allergies so it doesn’t feel safe at all. Our waiter was, to put it bluntly, a d*ck. I tried asking about how the omelettes were made, like if they’re in a separate pan from their other food on the grill, and he just gave me an attitude honestly unlike anything I’ve seen in my 25 years with a gluten allergy (like, seriously, waiters in the early 2000s were nicer about it). He was just plain rude and condescending for the entire conversation.
Long story short — we left immediately and let the manager know why, so maybe by the time you visit he won’t be doing that anymore :)
The waiter didn’t know much about gluten and seemed a bit confused by the whole thing however he was super careful and made sure to check with the kitchen for the safest option for me. And even if they have gluten free burger buns he still recommended I’d get the sandwich since they weren’t sure about the patties. And that was a good choice! I’m celiac and super sensitive and didn’t get sick at all and their turkey sandwich was pretty good. Fries are coated so I was recommended to switch it to veggies instead
I was recently diagnosed with celiac and this was my first trip to Vegas since… the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable . They made sure to add an extra note for the kitchen about my allergy and offered alternatives. The late night omelette and hash browns were so delicious, as was the Greek salad with grilled chicken!
This was my second time here. The first time was okay however this time around the staff was beyond unknowledgeable and asked ME if things were gluten free and had no idea how things were prepared. Our waiter (Darius) was beyond friendly and it was not at all his fault however, the woman who seated us who I’m fairly sure was a manager was extremely rude and the other manager who came to give me my refund actually seemed shocked actually shocked that I wasn’t going to take the food. So I do not recommend for a gluten allergy or celiac.
My husband and I dined here on December 24th 2023 for breakfast. I let our server know that I was gluten free and she brought out the manager who was able to walk me through the menu. I ended up ordering a ham steak two eggs over easy and hash brown. I also got gluten-free toast. Everything tested safe on my NIMA sensor.
This is a shared kitchen space. There is no gluten-free menu here.
Decent selection of GF items. Our server wasn’t very knowledgeable so I ordered something that is mostly naturally GF.
Amazing!!!! Such a pleasant dining experience and so refreshing for us as coeliacs to find something delicious and safe to eat. Steak, eggs and steamed vegies, GF burger (no chips) and mango smoothie. Happy Mum, happy daughter. Server very knowledgeable and helpful and totally aware of cross contamination. Even choclote mousse for dessert!
***DANGER*** Not Celiac safe. They just enough about gluten allergy to fool you into it being safe, but have little clue about how cross contamination works. Really sucks when establishments half-ass their gluten free menu options/ kitchen arrangements. I’d rather them not even try so they don’t end up on a list as a gluten free option so I do t end up trying them and getting sick.
I have celiac and I specified so and stressed my allergy. I was assured they were safe with GF. I ordered a patty melt and baked potato because they said their fries aren’t GF. Patty melt came out on regular bread. It was taken back and they prepared me for me on a GF bun. Sour cream for my baked potato had chunks in it so I didn’t use it. Potato was as hard as a rock. 20 minutes late I was sick to my stomach and felt so nauseous. I was definitely glutened. This place is not celiac safe and definitely not worth $100 for 4 meals.
Over an hour wait time for food. Our server was very apologetic but it did not seem so busy to be such a long wait time! Gluten free options clearly marked on the menu, I went for the omelette with cheese, tomato and spring onion. This came with a hash (tasted like fried, raw, floury grated potato). The omelette was okay as far as omelettes go! I also got gluten free toast and crispy bacon (possibly personal preference but it’s so over cooked it tastes like crunchy grease!) As we walked back into our hotel (Excalibur so like a 5 minute walk) I was sick immediately! Unsure what the cause was but possibly cross contamination. Definitely can find nicer places with better food, service and value for money!
I saw reviews that this restaurant was gluten free. My boyfriend and I went. We were here on a Monday night. While the service was VERY slow there were flute free options. More than 4. I got the western omelet and it was so good!!! Instead of gf toast for a side I got a fruit cup. The fruit cup was extra. THE FOOD IS SOO GOOD. 10/10 would recommend. Did not get sick.
Came here twice while in town, for breakfast. They have a menu that shows what is GF and what can be requested GF. Both servers we had, were super helpful and made it a pleasant breakfast.
After midnight, and no GF options, I do not recommend the steak and eggs. It was a valiant effort but the eggs were way over cooked & steak was so bad. But i cannot complain a burger with no bun and a baked potato was exactly what was needed. The bartender was fast, efficient and friendly.
Easy go to place to get a lot of choices in safe and free meals while staying at the New York New York casino. Biggest challenge of dining there is having to walk by all of the beautiful gluten filled donuts that they sell and are known for. I primarily eat breakfast dishes there but they were tasty and safe. There are also regular menu choices for later in the day.
Up in the front of the restaurant they sell coffee and donuts and when I went in just for a coffee and the woman washed her hands and took other precautions before pouring it after I asked her to bet careful because I was concerned about cross-contamination.
They have a lot of options. I would come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
They have gluten free buns and bread. Server was very knowledgeable and noticed the bun was not gluten feee before she served it. Overall good experience and we would eat here again.
Items said they were gluten free. Even informed the waiter, but ended up being sick before I could finish my meal.
