Review of American Steak & Grill House

I had an awful experience at a neighboring restaurant the evening we arrived in Zagreb. After leaving that restaurant hungry, I decided to try the restaurant on the ground floor of my hotel. Housed in the Hotel Dubrovnik, this restaurant and my server were total saviors! They do not mark GF items on their menu, but my server explained that no gluten ever goes on the grill, so all grilled items are safe. They also offer GF pastas, and their risottos and side dishes (so many veggies!) are always safe for those with Celiac Disease. During my stay, I had two dinners and a lunch here, plus two complementary breakfasts with my hotel stay (packaged Schar products as well as fruit, yogurt, and buffet style egg dishes that I didn’t inquire about). I felt great after all of my meals, and am so thankful for this place! They were so very accommodating and answered all of my questions respectfully and with confidence. Not to mention that their food was so fresh and delicious! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
