Review of Amish Door Restaurant

After bypassing many establishments in Berlin due to long lines on a Saturday night, we took a chance on Amish Door and we're so glad we did. Quick to get a table, great ambiance with live piano playing.The buffet had many gluten free options (including italian sausage), there was also a small menu card listing all gluten free options. The roast beef and mashed potatoes, broiled cod, and chicken breast with broccoli and sweet potato were all delicious. I am extremely sensitive and had no reaction. However I did make the mistake of ordering a cappuccino after dinner. I didn't realize it was a machine powdered mix until I tasted it and I did have an immediate reaction with that. Otherwise the meal was great, and with great service too.The icing on the cake was the bakery within. There were packages of gluten free peanut butter cookies and brownies. They were fantastic. There was also packaged gf noodles with flavors like cajun and porcini mushroom. We will be eating here again for sure, a great night!
