Staff told me nothing was safe and was incredibly rude. Despite what the website says, they said nothing is safe for celiacs. as many of you probably can relate to, being celiac is hard and gives me a lot of anxiety when eating out so being faced with someone who was so rude about it made it such a bad experience. Definitely don’t recommend at least this location. I recommend JP Licks down the street

My celiac partner and I tried the hot chocolate. It was mostly frothy and interesting. When I finished the froth, it was chocolate pudding sludge on the bottom. My partner really enjoyed the drink and said it had a delightful amount of unsweetened cream on top. Personally, I didn’t like it. There is only one size of coco drink and it’s nearly 8 dollars. I saw there was a sign regarding allergen information on their ice creams, but the place has a risk that I was not willing to take.

This place is usually a very safe option for my wife and I, as they take the proper precautions and are very considerate for us. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about our most recent visit. We were interrupted while explaining that we both have celiac and require efforts to reduce cross contamination. Furthermore, the employee serving us was almost annoyed at having to accommodate us, and while we felt safe at the time, we found out shortly after that we were mistaken. I have been sick for hours since eating there, and I worry about my safety if I return. My wife is asymptomatic, for which I am grateful, and I would never want her to experience these symptoms! I am sad to have had this experience at a place that was once wonderful. We hope to return in the future to a safer staff.
