Gelato was amazing and so are the macaroons. Told them I had a gluten allergy and then they washed the scooper and took the gelato from back of the bin far away from where they had been scooping. Definitely recommend.
They have gf cones and all ice creams are gf too. They are very careful when you say that you are glutenfree. They take the ice cream from an untouched part and dig down to make it as clean as possible. I felt veeery safe there too eat a gelato.
I walked past this place so many times and finally got to try it! If you tell them you’re gluten free or have celiac disease they take it seriously. They use different scoops and tongs. All the gelato, sorbet, and macarons are gluten free. During my visit, she grabbed the macarons from a different area than the rest of the people I went with. I felt safe here. It’s a little expensive than other places, such as Grom but still good.
Absolutely amaazzinngg! All gelato and cone is GF, and their process in scooping ice cream was exceptional - seperate water, scoops and scraped off old ice cream to get to the new. Staff were very aware and knowledgeable of celiac and cross contamination. So YUM!
Nice Shop, very good descriptipns. Lots of vegan Icecreams and even glutenfree waffles. I had Chocolate Sorbet and it was really good. The waffles ate kept in an extra container, no waffles or else near the icecream. I am very sensitive and did not feel anything after eating it, though I was a bit afraid, because the waffle tasted like a normal one.
We where there at the end of August 2024. They told us, the ice cream is gluten free. After the question if they have also gluten free cones the staff calls another person and then told us the cones were also gluten free. 1 h later my daughter had to vomit for at least 1,5 h. Be careful to get the right cones!
I visited Amorino on a whim while on a walking tour and not finding anything else nearby. I was delighted to learn that all the Gelato flavors were gluten free, and the macarons are also gluten free. The server cautioned about possible cross contamination from the cones, but I didn't experience any issues. It was very tasty, and because Gelato is my favorite dessert while traveling in Europe, I was very happy to get some on my first trip to Paris.
I visited on a Saturday and the place was packed. Thankfully I did not have a reaction however the allergy guide on line is very confusing and no one in store was able to help me. You are on your own ordering on a large tablet like screen and the menu presented does not mention which item is gluten free, for that you must scan a code and view on your phone. I watched the operation and there is cross contamination.
