I love Amy's. They can get a fresh scoop and usually can open an untouched container of the standard flavors if you ask, but I haven't found that to be necessary. If you want one of the other flavors, they have a binder with all the ingredients and nutrition info or just know the recipe off the top of their head. I haven't ever added in crush-ins since getting diagnosed so can't speak to the safety of those.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

They don't advertise as gluten free, but as soon as my father and I mentioned we were gluten intolerant, they made sure to was all of their equipment and their countertops to make sure everything was reasonably free of potential cross-contaminants. The ice cream there was also very good and they have some unique flavors and options to choose from. They make most of their products from scratch in-house (they have a nearby facility specifically for this) and they make it all fresh. Overall the quality was vary good, the staff was careful, and I am a satisfied customer.

The girl working told me that all of the ice cream flavors besides the vegan contained flour despite what I had researched online. Stated that no ice cream was safe for me and to not eat there.

Wow! I ordered the Mexican Vanilla and told the server I needed to be careful about cross contamination. He immediately went and got an unopened container of the ice cream and took a new scoop, just to serve me.

Most ice creams are gluten free. They were very careful with not using the same scooper and asked if I had a gluten allergy or intolerance.

The vegan Mexican vanilla was wonderful. I added m & m's and didn't have it mixed to avoid cross contamination.
