Review of Amy's Drive Thru

Amy’s is a good new vegetarian offering to TO. GF options for burgers and pizza. All fries are in a fryer with only fries so they are GF as well! Happy day. I had “The Amy” which is a double burger and sweet potato fries. The burger isn’t one of the type of vegan burgers like Beyond or Impossible which closely imitates meat. It’s more of a true veggie burger. Reminds me of the quinoa cowboy veggie burgers at Trader Joe’s. Good in its own light and doesn’t weigh you down after. but if you’re searching for a very realistic vegan burger look elsewhere. The GF bun is sad and flat. They should collaborate with Schar or a local bakery like Rising Hearts to improve that. But still. Cute place and very nice staff. Also open til 10 so add it to the list of 7 restaurants open past 9 in CV!
