Great experience. Food was delicious and I felt comfortable with my options. Contacted the manager to verify gluten free option availability. Manager said to let the service staff know and the server will explain what entrees are/can be gluten free. Most pasta dishes can be made gluten free and many other entrees are or can be made gluten free. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
I was so nervous dining in after seeing the bad reviews. But after talking to the manager on the phone & asking about cross contamination protocol, I decided to give it a try. The server was so knowledgeable and reassuring. I tried a gluten free pasta and a steak. They cook each entree in a separate pan & the noodles are boiled in separate pots. Both were delicious! I feel totally fine & I’m usually pretty sensitive. I’d go back for sure.
I ordered the GF pasta, which was the only meal marked GF on the menu. Told the server about my needs and verified that this was indeed the GF pasta when it arrived. It was definitely not GF and I ended up sick that night and the next day. It’s several days later now and my system is still pretty off. If you’re sensitive or celiac, avoid this place.
I ordered one of only 2 Gluten Free options available on the menu and explained to my waiter that it was very important that I not consume gluten. He said he understood. Unfortunately, the pasta that came with my meal was not gluten free as he stated it was and my immune system is now compromised and I’m having many negative reactions. In addition, upon looking at the check, he did not even input an order for GF. It simply states “1 shrimp risotto.” Stay away from this restaurant as the wait-staff is clearly not well enough trained or attentive to keep people with Celiacs safe and healthy.
Wonderful GF pasta!! We had the Ciao Potabello with Beef Tips for an appetizer and it was wonderful!! Staff was very knowledgable, and GF selections are listed right on the menu. The chef was able to make any of the sauces GF. I had the Pasta Andiamo with GF pasta of course, Arrabbiata Sauce and Chicken; it was wonderful! I couldn't even tell it was GF pasta. The house salad was very good as well. Others at the table got steak, mamma's chopped salad (he said it was the best salad he has ever had) and the basil pesto and pasta and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Service was great. Can't wait to go back!!
I was nervous going since there is no gluten free menu, it says to ask the server. The server recommended pretty much only steak, which I have always loved there in the past so had no issue with it. The zip sauce is not gluten free nor are the potatoes. I was able to get the steak on a bed of vegetables. One of the vegetables looked exactly like potatoes but the waitress assured they were parsnips. I was too nervous to eat it. I did just get some butter for the steak since the zip is soy and butter. It was good. I was also able to get the side salad and the house dressing which was delicious! Also they brought me out gluten free rolls which I loved! Overall not a bad experience, they really did try, but there just isn’t a lot of options. I would normally order the steak before anyway so that didn’t bother me that much. I did not get sick. They said everything is cooked in its own individual pan.
Very enjoyable meal with many GF options. Service by David was excellent, and he saw to it that everything I ordered was appropriately prepared. Warm rolls and my own dipping plate of an excellent olive oil and herbs was a most welcome touch. Creme Brulee torched tableside was a great feature!
