Went there three times in total. Several years ago I went and became sick. Thought maybe it’s a fluke and I would try it a second time. Guess what, got sick. Several years go by after swearing off this place I was craving a gf pastry. Thought I’d give it a shot. Guess what, got sick. I am celiac and the food that I ate was definitely not GF . Be extremely cautious if you are celiac. 3 strikes your out. I will never return.

Food was fine. It just wasn’t gluten free! Sick 3 times. Beware

Never have had an issue! Glad there’s a place in Bayonne that’s celiac friendly. Only issue is that it’s expensive so we can’t order from there as much as we’d like.

The food here was definitely not safe if you have celiac or anything that will truly cause a reaction. I have a horrible skin condition and it is the worst it’s been in 5 years after eating here. I wish I could post a picture. The food was delicious of course but this was no cross contamination for me. I absolutely consumed gluten and therefore the menu needs to be updated because the items cannot be classified as gluten free.

Amazing restaurant, the staff is friendly and the food is tasty. A place where I can eat guilt-free and not worry about anything horrible happening to me. The doctors gave me medicine to help me feel better, but what truly is the cure is WHAT YOU EAT! Listen to me, SERIOUSLY! This food is amazing, home-cooked meals and these are gourmet cuisines! Not like other bullcrap food other places give you! Also, they have non-vegan options, good for anybody.

Now let me just clarify, if you are sensitive to gluten or are vegan or just looking for good healthy food but are NOT Celiac then Andrew's is awesome. However, as a sensitive Celiac I feel I have to come on here and share my experience because despite it's great reviews I threw everything up. Honestly, I met the guy running the place and he's super awesome and passionate about his food and catering to allergies, we actually let him know about this app and his reviews. Shop had a very home-y feel vibe to it, it's like the living room of an apartment and the the guy's kids are the servers. I ordered the turkey sandwich on a homemade gluten free role. it was actually amazing until I threw it up, still amazing. Typical flu-like-symptoms until it was out of my system but still a bangin sandwich so 2 out of 5 instead of 1. Anyway, if you're vegan go ahead support the business but Celiacs watch out.

I went to this place based on reviews. I was disappointed. I got my order to go since they were closing. The Swedish meatball sandwich was a mess it had way too much sauce on it the whole container and bread was drenched in it. My taste buds didn't agree. The smoked salmon on a roll was a bit messy too with way too much spring mix on it and also drenched in dressing. It was huge stacked in 3 layers and impossible to eat unless taken apart. But it was satisfying. The bread was really good tho I won't deny that. I will go back to try the bagels. I don't have too many options with gluten free so I will try again and hopefully have better luck. It might have been the person that day that prepared my order.

This place is a hidden gem. I have never seen an entire menu of gluten free options, including an entire case of desserts. The food was phenomenal. I had the fried Calamari as an appetizer and I wish I could lick the plate clean. Decided to have the cuban sandwich on gluten free multigrain bread, which did not disappoint! For dessert, I chose the cheesecake, another winner. My husband is not GF but was also totally won over by the menu and the food. I highly recommend this place.

Unbelievably delicious food and I've never gotten sick afterwards. I eat here almost twice a week! It's a small place so try to avoid going at peak lunch hours or you'll be waiting a while. I never mind though, they're the best!

I'm new to the gluten free lifestyle & I must say because of Andrew's I'm really loving it!!! Mostly gluten-free menu which makes sense to me because all vegans (awesome vegan choices too) don't necessarily live gluten free. Vast gluten-free & vegan menu including deserts!!! Everything I've tasted so far is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!Now that's my Friday dinner spot when I'm in the area which is often!!!
