Meh. There were 3 GF options. We got GF chocolate. My wife thinks it tastes like “not donuts” and I think they tasted less than amazing. Our toddler son, however, loves them. In my opinion, Kinnikinnick has better flavor. That said, the texture was slightly less cakey than I’d anticipated. (Of course any GF donut will be a circular cake, but these were a moist, and not mealy cake.) The aftertaste isn’t thrilling, either. That said, Angel Donuts seems conscientiously gluten free - even though they also have gluten donuts. The GF donuts were stored separately, the employee we talked with seemed knowledgeable, and I’m not having any reaction. Their were lots of people coming for their gluten donuts. This would be an acceptable place to appear sociable and just accept “meh” GF donuts as a better compromise than lots of other choices.
