The waiter didn’t seem very knowledgeable about gluten free but that wasn’t an issue. I spoke to the manager who gave me multiple options and assured me they use separate water for the pasta and take as many precautions in the kitchen as possible. I ordered the gluten free ravioli and had absolutely no symptoms of being gluten’d!
The owner does not take gluten free seriously. I ordered gluten free pasta and a gluten free pizza via Uber eats. I placed a note that the salad that comes with the meal needed to be gluten free. When I opened the order there was croutons on the salad and loosely wrapped bread on top of my gluten free order. My concerns where not taken seriously it literally took 20 minutes for them to very vaguely verify that they use separate pasta water for the pasta. He told me that his staff does not know what gluten free is and wouldn’t know not to place croutons on a salad unless the note stated “no croutons”. Uhm, you serve food sir, your staff should know what gluten is.
We took a chance ordering from them because we tried them a few weeks ago and the waitress made me so comfortable with their procedures for the pizza we ordered. I did not get sick. Now I realize that I just got lucky.
