I’m in ft Walton on business once a month. This place isn’t the fanciest or most expensive but the porch is awesome and the food is consistently good. I am a regular, stay away from the foods you would expect might be a problem, and I’ve never had any issues. I recommend it.

There are lots of good restaurants around… this place is run by incompetent people and their food is extremely average. Save your money and go somewhere else.

3 of 4 of us are GF. Items are marked on the menu. We shared the peeled shrimp, oysters, tuna dip and salads and one had the mahi mahi dinner. Waitress reminded my husband of the common fryer for sweet potato fries so he got mashed potatoes.

I got the tray nachos with shrimp, and minus the chili (was worried about inconsistencies with spices). I ended up having one of my worst celiac attacks within 4 hours. I would not eat here again. There was a notice on the menu that says food is prepared in a common space. I did mention that I had an “allergy”.

We had the tray nachos one day. They came out super quick and were amazing! We had asked for chicken but got chicken and beef. Waaaay too much food for just two people. The tortilla chips were thin and crispy. The next day I got the smoked tuna dip with tortillas. Meh. It's basically a ball of tuna salad. It didn't taste smoked to me at all. My wife had the scallops with lemon butter, garlic mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Everything was labeled and hasn't made me sick yet. Overall good experience. The staff is friendly. It may looked packed from the parking lot but both times we went almost everyone was on the beach or pier.

Both kids have Celiac. Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. Kids had steak, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, and broccoli and shrimp appetizer. Everything was good. Best part is no one got sick from cross contamination! Bonus!!!! I didn't pay too much attention to the amount of GF listed food but it was all clearly marked. If the kids like seafood more I would have paid more attention. Chicken was gd too. Regular fries were not. They have a dedicated fryer.

The staff didn’t seem to know what gluten free was or meant. The menu has labeled gluten free items but when I ordered specifically gluten free it came with hushpuppies that weren’t safe. Contaminated my whole plate.
The food was alright. (Chicken super spicy). It came served with Hush Puppies despite being ordered gluten free. The staff was super kind about this situation clearly didn’t fully understand gluten free. The vegetable medley was undercooked and unseasoned.
They were badly understaffed and the waitress made it sound as though it was an extended situation.

Staff was not at all knowledgeable and some things were mislabeled as being gluten free on the menu and the cook said they in fact weren’t. The gumbo for example, it’s indicated as GF on menu but I didn’t believe it. Asked the cook and he said it’s not GF. Should’ve left at that point but it was storming so I ate there anyway. And I got sick. Would not recommend.

Unsafe. I got very sick! Lasted 2 weeks! My grilled fish came with bread on top of the fish after carefully ordering. I would have sent back but had an extremely tired toddler and another child eating around 4 p.m after a day at the Gulfarium. I removed all of the bread touching food. Big mistake but there was probably other cross contamination. Server did not care. Over $80.

I ordered gf fish and shrimp kebabs and my plate came with bread on it. They sent it back to the kitchen, but it reappeared suspiciously soon without bread. No gf cider.

Gluten free menu available. Had grilled catch of the day with rice and veggies. Seems a bit pricey for the amount of food. Great views.
Not a huge menu but I didn’t get sick. No appetizers and the menu is mostly fish, salad and crab legs.
