Beyond good! Had the pistachio and pho flavors. Will have to come back to try all the others. We were standing outside with our dog and they welcomed us all in out of the rain.

Wife has a severe Gluten Allergy. When we find places like this that are all gluten free we have to go. All flavors are GF and they make 2 types of GF waffle cone. Highly recommend for those with Celiac or gluten intolerance.

Awesome gelato shop and a great overall experience. They take you on a “flavor tour” and let you try all of the flavors, which rotate every 2 weeks and are all gluten free. Additionally, all of their cones are gluten free. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The employees said everything was GF, so I tried two flavors (nutella/bread pudding and a chocolate peppermint) in a cone and they were all DELICIOUS. Super friendly and asked about other allergens when doing the "tasting tour".

Amazing unique ice cream flavors with gluten free waffle cones and gluten free mix ins (like cookies, brownies, etc.).
Upon asking, they did say they make on flavor of ice cream that isn’t gluten free (and only served at a different location). They clarified, “it is the last flavor we make at the end of the day and we thoroughly clean the equipment afterwards”
This location is no longer exclusively gluten free. Gluten flavors are made on shared equipment. They still offer a handful of gluten free flavors
I unfortunately got severely glutened and was sick for days after eating here. I had the ice cream (delicious) and a cookie. The cookie felt off texture wise and I was already suspicious however after double checking the whole store is GF and due to the great reviews I ignored the red flags. I called to update and inquire about the cookies/ingredients/GF processes however only was given “everything is gluten free” vaguely. I’m still not sure how I got glutened here and seems other Celiacs have not had issues, just forewarning to tread carefully if you feel something is off, lesson learned for me.
Absolutely delicious ice cream and cookies! They have a rotating menu, so I’ll need to come back!

Amazing ice cream and cones as others have said. Everything in the store is gf, including cones and cookies. As soon as you start your tasting, they ask if you have any allergies which is awesome.
I’ve told a few people that already went here and love it that it’s fully gf and they had no idea, which goes to show how good it is.
Edit: They change the menu every month-ish! And it’s usually different than the other location in North Park! Lots of variety and awesome unique flavors.

Stunningly good. They change flavors every month. They give you a taste of every flavor before you select what you want, what a fun experience! One of the flavors I selected was caramel with chocolate covered waffle cone bits, named “Velour.” Delicious is an understatement!
By the way, we asked about the Hatmakers name and were told it’s related to people wearing hats to the local horse racing track.

What an amazing experience! A gluten free gelato shop. The flavors are incredible and delicious, and loved getting to enjoy a waffle cone for the first time in 13 years. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. Planning on coming back every time I’m here.

I had vegan peanut butter chocolate ice cream which was really good. The best part was the cone though. It was the best cone I’ve ever had even compared to cones I had before being gluten free! Everything in the store was gluten free when I was there.

The gelato is absolutely delicious. Not all flavors are gluten free, but they said the one that contained gluten (challah ingredient) was made separately.

My daughter said one of best ice cream shop she hasn’t have for a long time. Everything GF includes waffle cone which is made by rice. Unique flavor like cucumber watermelon.
